This application consolidates information regarding company employees and contractors. This links company staff to holiday bookings, attendance of training courses, absence, and accidents recorded during employment hours. There is also the ability to attach documentation against staff records so you don't need to keep paper copies on file.
Security
Employee data is among your most sensitive records. We wrap an elegant security model around the app so users only see what they're supposed to see, while managers get more detailed screens and take in the wider picture.
Holiday and Expense Approvals
Everyone needs a holiday, and everyone needs those business lunches paid for. Built around a simple workflow staff can submit holiday and expense requests, have them approved (or not!) with notifications sent to keep everyone up to date.
The Science Bit
This project was developed using VB.NET, although C# is an alternative programming environment, and therefore incorporates the latest .NET framework 4. It sits on an MS SQL 2008 database.
